Self drive travel: Riga – Sigulda – Bauska – Rundale – Jurmala, 5 days/ 4 nights

Day 1, Riga

• Arrival to Riga, pick-up the car;
• Check-in at the hotel (receive a map, instructions and all neccessary information for further trip).

Day 2, Sigulda

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• One day ticket to hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus and free time to explore the city;
• Afternoon tour to Sigulda with a visit to impressive medieval Turaida castle;
• Overnight at the hotel in Riga.

Day 3, Bauska and Rundale

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Full day tour to Rundale castle and Bauska castle mound. Rundale castle (18th century) is the most beautiful baroque palace in the Baltics. The palace is an outstanding example of the early work of Italian architect Francesco Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Bauska castle mound – pitoresque complex and former Livonian fortress.
• Optional: visit to Mezotne castle – an outstanding example of Latvian classicism that boasts the best groomed English-style landscape parks in Latvia (available only if castle doesn’t host any special event or wedding);
• Overnight at the hotel in Riga.

Day 4, Jurmala

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Full day tour to Jurmala – Latvia’s most famous seaside resort with beautiful wooden architecture;
• Overnight at the hotel in Riga.

Day 5, Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Departure to the airport.
