New route from Riga International Airport

New route from Riga International Airport

Riga International Airport

On October 29, the Latvian national airline airBaltic added new flights – a route from Riga to Chisinau that was previously announced for winter schedule. The flights will link the capital of Moldova via North Hub Riga with airports in Western Europe, Scandinavia, Baltic states and Russia.

Now tourists from European countries can easily combine their trip to the Baltic states with a visit to this yet undiscovered country. Although it has a small area, the Republic of Moldova as a tourist destination has a great potential represented first of all by the geomorphologic aspect of its territory – an unusual diversity of landscape reservations or scenery and unique geological monuments of European and world value. Besides, Moldovan travel agencies offer magnific rural tours for nature lovers and interesting wine programs for those, who’d like to know more about Moldovan wine industry and visit the vineyards.

A unique opportunity that is now available thanks to the new airBaltic route.
