Christmas markets are a perfect place to visit in search of unique gifts, interesting season goods, such as fur hats and knitted gloves and also a great way to feel a spirit of winter! Prices are often competitive, and most of the time you’re buying directly from the person who made the item. If you get cold while strolling around the market, then head to one of the kiosks selling mulled wine, hot balsam with blackcurrant juice or apple grog. Nearby you’ll certainly find vendors selling fried sausages and other delicacies.

Kids are also highly welcomed – in all Christmas markets in Riga, Vilnius and in Tallinn young visitors will find cute farm animals, kiosks with sweets, roundabouts and much more! All markets are opened till the middle of January.
