Self drive travel: Riga – Parnu – Saaremaa island – Tallinn – Cesis – Sigulda – Jurmala, 8 days/ 7 nights

Day 1, Riga

• Arrival to Riga, pick-up the car;
• Check-in at the hotel (receive a map, instructions and all neccessary information for further trip).

Day 2, Riga

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• One day ticket to hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus and free time to explore the city;
• Evening departure to Parnu and check-in at the hotel.

Day 3, Parnu

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Free day to explore Parnu – the official summer capital of Estonia. Parnu is also a former Hanseatic town and hosted the 30th International Hanseatic Days medieval festival in 2010;
• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4, Saaremaa island

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Morning departure by ferry to Saaremaa.
• Full day tour to Saaremaa – Estonia’s biggest island. Saaremaa has retained its uniqueness due to its location and insulation. In the villages there are still stone fences and houses with thatched roofs, beautiful national costumes and dialectal language are still used. Saaremaa offer many tourist sights: Angla windmills, Kaali meteorite craters, bishop’s castle in Kuressaare, traditional village Koguva etc.;
• Evening return to Parnu.
• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5, Tallinn

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Morning departure to Tallinn;
• Check in at the hotel and free time to explore Tallinn: the Old Town with narrow streets and medieval building, elegant Kadriorg castle, seaside district Pirita;
• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6, Cesis and Sigulda

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Departure to Latvia;
• Tour to medieval town of Cesis with a walk in historical center and visit to Cesis castle mound;
• Tour to Sigulda, Latvian Switzerland, with a visit to impressive medieval Turaida castle;
• Overnight at the hotel in Sigulda.

Day 7, Jurmala

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Visit to Jurmala – a vivid resort with its wide sandy beaches, pine forest, restaurants and cafes;
• Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8, Departure

• Breakfast at the hotel;
• Departure to the airport.
